A1 List: For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club and who have already carried out their first appointment to award Challenge Certificates in this breed.

A2 List: For persons who would, in principle, be approved by the Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates and who have achieved the necessary criteria to be included on the A3 specialist/non specialists list and achieved the KC minimum training needs for first time CC judges.

A3 List: For persons the Club would support to award Challenge Certificates but who, as yet have not been approved by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 List.

BREED SPECIALISTS

· Must have a minimum of seven years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the PHC.

· Must have judged the breed at seven Open Shows or Championship Shows without CCs.

· Must have judged a minimum of fifty Pharaoh Hounds in breed classes.

· Must have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry into the KC Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).

· Must have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant KC Code of Best Practice and passed a PHC judges exam.

· Must have attended a seminar by a KC accredited trainer, and passed the relevant exam on KC Regulations and Judging Procedures.

· Must have attended a Conformation and Movement Hands On Assessment conducted by a KC accredited trainer and passed the assessment.

· Must have attended a seminar given by a KC accredited trainer on Conformation and Movement.

· Must have stewarded over a minimum of twelve days at shows.

NON-BREED SPECIALISTS

· Must have a minimum of seven years judging experience in any one breed to include five years judging of Pharaoh Hounds.

· Must have judged the breed on at least seven occasions.

· Must have judged a minimum of fifty Pharaoh Hounds in breed classes.

· Must award Challenge Certificates in at least one other hound breed.

· Must have passed the PHC’s judges exam.

B List: SPECIALIST

· Must have been active in the breed for at least five years.

· Must have attended a PHC approved seminar on the breed.

· Must have judged at least four classes at Open Show level or higher.

NON-SPECIALIST

· Must have attended a PHC approved seminar on the breed.

· Must have judged at least ten Pharaoh Hounds in breed classes or judged a Hound Group at Open Show level or higher.

· Must have judged their own breed for at least five years at Open Show level or higher.

· Must have shown an interest in the breed.

C List:  For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and who have the support of the Club.
